Had the $80 traditional plate for two It was beautiful, full of flavour and surprises. Staff were very nice too. We were there on Friday for lunch and it was full, and it was easy to see why. Will definitely go back!!!!
Staff are really friendly, food is sooooo delicious, esp the kebabs and mantu. Lychee drink had generous amounts of lychee. Great for group dinners and sharing different food. Can get pretty loud because it’s very popular.
As Canberra’s only (?) Afghan restaurant, I’d always thought it wouldn’t need to try very hard. But it’s delicious! Tasty roasted meat on skewers, but also a spiced and warming vegetarian menu. We loved the flatbread filled with spiced potato, the dumplings, dhal and simmered beans. We’d come back.
First time eating at Bamiyan after a glowing recommendation from a friend. The food was delicious, quick service and great atmosphere.
First time trying Afgan food and the flavours were just amazing! The best prawn curry I have ever had! Worth the price and friendly service. Will definitely be back.
Absolutely delicious food! Our 1st experience with Afghan cuisine. We made sure to order typical Afghan, not Indian dishes. The portions are large. 1 rice portion will suffice for 2.
I had a fantastic meal at this Afghan restaurant. The food was incredibly flavorful, fresh and beautifully prepared — every dish tasted amazing. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the service was friendly throughout. I genuinely enjoyed my experience here and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!
Went in, alone due to curiosity- and was very positively surprised- the food was delicious - we chose the Banquet 2 - where you get 4 starters and 4 mains…way to much food, but gave us the possibility to taste a lot of different dishes. The service was also top notch !
Absolutely spectacular food on every level. The real deal. The Camel kebab was surprisingly delicious. Asahi Japanese beer on tap. All food made from scratch with fresh ingredients. They have a good selection of both Afghan and Indian dishes. This is how to restaurant.
Loved it. Great service. Yummy food. Really good value. We had the standard banquet for $50 per head - 2 entrees & 3 mains. Perfect. We’ll be back. PS recommend the Safah Fresh mocktail if you like mint - delish.
